HOPEWELL, NJ — Hopewell is ending the weekend on a high note when Grammy-nominated songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Becca Stevens takes the stage Sunday.
Stevens will perform from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at Hopewell Valley Stage, 5 S. Greenwood Avenue. The singer, producer and instrumentalist blends Appalachian folk, jazz and experimental indie into music the venue calls "technically daring" and "deeply human."
Often compared with genre-crossing musicians including Joni Mitchell and Björk, Stevens has developed a sound Hopewell Valley Stage describes as "tender, agile and emotionally rooted."
The concert gives Hopewell residents a chance to hear an internationally recognized artist close to home without traveling to a major city. Tickets are available through the venue's event page, along with performance information
