A Gift in Her Memory: Cookbooks Donated to Hopewell Library to Honor Sara Cooper (mercerme.com) — Visitors to the Hopewell Branch of the Mercer County Library can now explore more than 100 donated cookbooks and a new $1,000 gift made in memory of longtime local resident Sara Cooper. Her husband hopes the collection will keep her love of cooking, entertaining, and community alive for Hopewell Valley neighbors who browse the shelves for inspiration.
3. Hopewell Township Celebrates the Opening of Kessler Rehab (hopewelltwp.org) — Hopewell Township has welcomed a new Kessler Rehabilitation facility, giving local residents closer access to physical rehabilitation and recovery services. Marked by a ribbon-cutting with Mayor David Chait and township officials, the center is expected to serve patients from Hopewell and surrounding communities who need help regaining strength, mobility, and independence after illness or injury.
4. Hopewell Valley football knocks off undefeated Steinert in marquee Mercer game (trentonian.com) — Hopewell Valley High School's football team delivered a standout home win over previously undefeated Steinert, powered by a stifling defense and key plays from several Bulldogs. Coach Dave Caldwell praised his players' toughness and resilience as they battled through injuries, with standout performances from Ben Franco, returning rusher Ethan Valenza, and kicker-defender Alden Levy sealing the 18-7 victory.
