A Place at the Table—UUCWC Hosts Community Dinner to Support Refugees

Join members and friends of the Unitarian Universalist Church at Washington Crossing, Titusville, on Saturday, June 27, 2026, for an evening of connection, storytelling, and shared community as we come together to support refugee families. We are honored to share a delicious, home-cooked Middle Eastern meal prepared by Syrian Chef Sobheih and her daughters.

The community dinner is sponsored by UUCWC’s Faith Action Ministry and will take place from 5:00 - 8:30 PM at UUCWC, 268 Washington Crossing-Pennington Rd, Titusville, NJ 08560.

Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Temple Beth-El of Hillsborough Refugee Resettlement Committee, and the Bucks County Interfaith Coalition for Refugee Resettlement (BCIRR), Newtown, PA. Funds will support both ongoing needs and new initiatives to help refugee families prepare for and respond to ICE-related challenges.

Tickets are $10-$25; there is no cost for children 12 and under.

There will be Middle Eastern Art activities offered for young children.
