Hopewell Celebrates Restoration Of Historic Railroad Station

Hopewell Borough residents and officials gathered to celebrate the restoration of a landmark dating back to 1876.

HOPEWELL, NJ — A piece of Hopewell history got its moment in the spotlight Saturday as residents and officials celebrated the restoration of the Hopewell Railroad Station.

The borough hosted a dedication ceremony at 10 a.m., following coffee with Mayor Ryan Kennedy at the David H. Knights Community Room.

Built in 1876, the station once served travelers headed to New York City and Philadelphia. Today, residents can rent the station's community room for meetings and gatherings.
