Hopewell HS Students Host Free Benefit Concert To Fight Local Hunger

A student-run club hosted the benefit concert this past weekend.

HOPEWELL, NJ — A student-run club at Hopewell Valley Central High School hosted a free Grateful Dead-themed benefit concert at Woolsey Park in Titusville this past weekend.

All proceeds from the June 14 event will go to benefiting the Hopewell Valley Mobile Food Pantry.

"Hunger Is Dead 2026" was organized by Valley Vibes, an after-school club at HVCHS.

The club performed three songs: Kimock, Far From Dead and Rockcital.

Attendees were encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to donate.

Nomad Pizza and Uncle Ed's provided on site paid food and refreshments during the event.
