Hopewell Valley Arts Council Launches Memberships, Stage Pass

HOPEWELL, NJ — Hopewell Valley arts fans have two new ways to attend performances and community programs while supporting the organization behind them.

The Hopewell Valley Arts Council and Hopewell Valley Stage have launched an Arts Council membership program and a limited Stage All Access Pass. Benefits may be used beginning Thursday, October 1.

Arts Council memberships are available for artists, individuals, couples and families, with prices ranging from $45 to $175. Depending on the tier, benefits include a $5 discount on Stage performances, reduced admission to the Amazing Pumpkin Carve, free tickets to weeknight ArtConnect events, ticket exchanges and discounts on classes, workshops and camps. Artist members can also seek inclusion in a future artist and performer directory, submit events for social media promotion and apply for member exhibitions.

The All Access Pass costs $70 per month or $770 as a one-time payment and covers one free ticket per pass to eligible Stage shows and family programs from Thursday, October 1, through Thursday, September 30, 2027, while tickets last. Pass holders receive two guest tickets per year, free ArtConnect admission, a T-shirt, ticket exchanges, a 10% discount on classes, workshops and camps, and $150 off event rentals.

Only 75 passes will be sold, and sales close Sunday, November 1, or earlier if they sell out. Organizers said the offer, created to celebrate the Stage’s reopening, may not return after its first year.

“Our new membership and All Access programs are wonderful ways to support the arts in Hopewell Valley while also receiving great benefits,” Executive Director Carol Lipson said.

The Stage’s schedule includes events nearly every weekend and four to six eligible offerings each month. Theater Manager Maeli Goren-Wilson described the venue as a “family-friendly social club for the arts” and said the programs invite neighbors to return regularly and celebrate creativity together.

September’s calendar includes Marvelous Manhattan Mandolins on Friday, September 11, the improv show “Yes, Chef!” on Friday, September 18, and the Small Bites micro music festival on Saturday, September 19.

October brings jazz, an interview with cognitive scientist Donald Hoffman, an indie album release, Red Baraat, Old 97’s frontman Rhett Miller, magician Tommy White and a Halloween tribute to Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac. Costumes are welcome at the Saturday, October 31, concert.

The council continues Tour Des Arts, gallery exhibitions and art talks.
