2018 Non-Profit of the Year
Jackson Township Chamber of Commerce Selects Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey

The Jackson Chamber of Commerce has selected Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey (CVCJ) as the recipient of their 2018 Non-Profit of the Year. The non-profit will be honored at their Annual Awards Banquet Gala on September 20, 2018 at the Radisson Hotel of Freehold. CVCJ was chosen because of their outstanding assistance to individuals over 60 years old including Veterans, the disabled, those with Alzheimer’s disease and their caregivers in Ocean and Monmouth Counties.
According to Lynette Whiteman, Executive Director of Caregiver Volunteers of Central Jersey “for the past 25 years, CVCJ has been dedicated to making life better to those of 60 who no longer drive and their caregivers. The saying “there is no place like home” rings true for so many of us and our volunteers go above and beyond to make this happen for people at a vulnerable time in their lives. We truly wish to thank the Jackson Chamber of Commerce for this honor and for being a wonderful supporter of our agency throughout the year.”
