3 Hurt As Police SUV, Car Collide In Howell
Breaking: The driver and passenger in the car suffered moderate injuries, police said.

HOWELL, NJ — Two people suffered moderate injuries, and a police officer suffered a minor injury in a collision between a police vehicle and a sedan Wednesday afternoon on West Farms Road.
Howell Township police said the collision occurred at the intersection of West Farms Road and Casino Drive about 1:30 p.m. The driver and passenger of the car had to be extricated and suffered moderate injuries in the crash, police said.
Police officer Mike Moore suffered a hand injury, police said. He radioed dispatch about the collision, police said.

The initial investigation showed the car pulled out into the path of Moore's police vehicle, police said; more information will be released when the investigation is completed.
