7 Charged In Jackson-Howell Heroin Bust: Police
120 bags of heroin, plus prescription medication, crack cocaine and marijuana plus cash and a car were seized, police said.

JACKSON, NJ -- Seven people were arrested Tuesday and heroin, prescription medication and other drugs were seized as the result of a joint narcotics investigation by Jackson and Howell police, Jackson police said Wednesday.
The investigation led to a search warrant being executed at home on Shilling Way, Jackson Capt. Steven Laskiewicz said. Inside, police found 120 bags of heroin, crack cocaine, and hypodermic syringes, he said. They also seized marijuana, and a quantity of oxycodone, Endocet (a combination of oxycodone and acetominophen), and Xanax, he said.
Police also seized a 2014 Dodge and more than $2,000 in cash, Laskiewicz said.

Laskiewicz said the following people were charged:
Jameer Jones, 22, of Lakewood. He was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute, possession of CDS with intent to distribute in a school zone, possession of heroin, possession of Endocet and possession of oxycodone. He is being held at the Ocean County Jail, Toms River, in lieu of $35,000 bail with a 10 percent option.

Nyshawne Sutton, 35, of Toms River. He was charged with possession of heroin, possession of crack cocaine, possession of Endocet and possession of marijuana (under 50 grams). He is being held in the Ocean County Jail in lieu of $35,000 bail, no 10 percent option.
Kevin Guzman, 43, of Brick. He was charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with the intent to distribute, possession of CDS with intent to distribute in a school zone and possession of heroin. He also was charged with tampering with evidence as he attempted to flush items down a toilet as officers made entry into the residence. He is being held at the Ocean County Jail in lieu of $35,000 bail, no 10 percent option.
Timothy Guzman, 36, of Jackson. He was charged with possession of Xanax and possession of a hypodermic syringe. He was processed and released on summons.
Holly Halvorsen, 41, of Jackson. She was charged with possession of Xanax and possession of a hypodermic syringe. She was processed and released on summons.
Zoraida Sousa, 37, of Manalapan. She was charged with possession of Xanax and possession of a hypodermic syringe. She was processed and released on summons.
Jason Diffoot, 37, of Lakewood. He was charged with possession of heroin and loitering with the intent to obtain a controlled dangerous substance. Bail was set at $25,000 with a 10 percent option and he was processed and released after posting bail.
The investigation is ongoing, Laskiewicz said. Anyone with information about narcotics activity is asked to contact the Jackson Township Police Department at 732-928-1111 so it can be investigated.
