All Shore Intermediate Band to Perform Annual Concert
Local honors band scheduled to perform at the Michael T. Lake Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, February 1st

The All Shore Intermediate Band will present its 58th annual concert on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the Michael T. Lake Performing Arts Center, starting at 7:30 p.m.
All Shore Intermediate Band is an honors band, founded in 1958, that is comprised of the finest middle school musicians from Monmouth and Ocean Counties. Members are chosen by audition in November and rehearse during the winter months in preparation for their concert. This year's All Shore Intermediate Band is conducted by Middletown band director Katherine Raguseo.
All Shore Intermediate Band Directors’ Association President Jeff Canter writes, “Each year, I look forward to the All Shore Intermediate Band Concert because it is truly amazing to hear what the area’s young musicians are capable of performing. The students represent many school districts – it’s a musical All-Star game!”

"All Shore has been a great experience because it has given me the opportunity to play with musicians from all over Ocean and Monmouth County. The ensemble taught us new ideas and techniques that we will take with us into high school," states David Meriney, first chair percussionist and eighth grader at Carl W. Goetz Middle School in Jackson.
"I couldn't have made it this far without the help of my band teacher, Mr. McCarthy."
