HOWELL, NJ — Applebee's in Howell Township hosting its annual "Stuff the Bus" school supplies drive.
The Howell location, owned by franchisee Doherty Enterprises, is accepting the donations through Aug. 19.
The bright yellow school bus will be in the parking lot as a collection point for school supply donations, and customers can donate supplies or money to benefit local students, the company said.
All collected items will be loaded directly onto the bus on Aug. 31 and delivered to the Howell Township Public Schools to help students with the supplies they need.
"Supporting the communities we serve is at the heart of everything we do," said Timothy Doherty, president of Doherty Enterprises. "Each year, our Stuff the Bus campaign brings neighbors, guests and local organizations together at their local Applebee's to help students start the school year with the supplies they need. Seeing our communities rally around this effort and make a meaningful difference for local families is incredible."
