Metzger, who represents Howell Township on the regional board, is recognized for his academic success, early public service, and work on school finance and transparency. The awards will be presented at the New Jersey Women Business Leaders Forum in Atlantic City next month.
   

• How F-Cove in Brick became a prized landing spot for shore boaters (pressofatlanticcity.com) — A popular party spot known as F-Cove in Brick draws hundreds of boaters to a sandy stretch of the Barnegat Bay, including young adults from Howell looking for sun and music.
