“VCS Gives Back” is a social responsibility program created by VCS, a company in Freehold, NJ. Two new projects were developed to bring relief to the Hurricane Sandy victims in the areas that were hit the hardest. We are utilizing our public safety clients to guide us to deliver all donated items directly to the people who need the most assistance.
Beach Town Backpacks – This project relies on donated items such as soap, deodorant, toothpaste, batteries, and diapers. We ask that you place all donated items into gently-used backpacks, tote bags, or gym bags to make it easy for displaced storm victims to carry with them. We will include a letter of encouragement into each bag, and we encourage you to do the same. Other items that would be appreciated are shampoo, baby items, Q-tips, a deck of cards, novels, and any other items you can think of that would make it easier for victims to continue to move forward. Our goal is not only to supply victims with necessities, but also to encourage and put smiles back on their faces.
