Applied Behavior Analysis Focus of GCU Workshop

Applied behavior analysis research and solutions are the focal points of Georgian Court University's free, July 22 ABA Summer Workshop.

July 16, 2016 (Lakewood, NJ)—Applied behavior analysis strategies and research as well as discussion of complex behavior problems caused by brain injuries are among the topics that will be explored Friday, July 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the historic Lakewood campus of Georgian Court University. Admission is free and attendees can earn Type II BACB continuing education credits ($5 per credit).

The Behavior Analysis Summer Workshop, will be led by GCU faculty members David Wilson, Ph.D., an assistant professor of psychology, and Christopher Perrin, Ph.D., also an assistant professor of psychology. They are Board Certified Behavior Analysts-Doctoral (BCBA-D) and each has more than 15 years of experience providing ABA services to children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Together, they lead Georgian Court’s Applied Behavior Analysis Clinic, and also teach master’s-level courses in the university's Behavior Analyst Certification Board-approved ABA graduate program.
