Armed Robber Sought In Howell Check-Cashing Store Holdup: Police
Breaking: A white pickup truck, in photos from surveillance video, was last seen headed south on Route 9.
HOWELL, NJ — Howell Township police are seeking the public's help in finding an armed robber who held up a check-cashing store on Route 9 Tuesday morning.
Police said the suspect is a white male, 40 to 50 years old with graying hair and beard. He had a Harley-Davidson bandana covering his face and was wearing sunglasses, police said.
The holdup happened about 11:35 a.m. at the Checks Cashed Station at 5995 Route 9 north at Estelle Lane, police said. The man showed a silver handgun and after he was given cash, he fled in a 2008-2010 Ford 250 pickup truck south on Route 9, police said. The pickup truck, seen in the photos, is missing its front license plate.

No one was injured, police said.
