HOWELL, NJ — Back-to-school planning is well underway in Howell, with the school calendar available to help parents and students prepare for the first day of the 2022-2023 school year.
Students return Tuesday, Sept. 6.
The district educates approximately 5,409 students in its pre-k to eighth-grade district, with two middle schools and 10 elementary schools. Howell High School is part of the Freehold Regional High School District.

- Winter recess: Dec. 24-31
- Spring recess: April 6-16

- Last day for students and staff; Freehold Regional High School District graduation: June 22
