Bicyclist Dies Of Injuries From Howell Crash
James Glovich, 19, succumbed to his injuries, police confirmed; his family has donated his organs to help others, a fundraising site says.

HOWELL, NJ — A 19-year-old Howell man has died of injuries suffered when he was hit by a car while bicycling across White Road on Wednesday evening, police confirmed Friday evenining.
James Glovich, 19, was initially listed in critical condition following the accident that happened about 6 p.m. Wednesday, Sgt. Christian Antunez said.
Glovich, who was hit by a 2011 Nissan Altima, was airlifted to Jersey Shore University Medical Center but succumbed to what Antunez said were lift-threatening injuries.

A You Caring fund has been set up to help the family with the cost of funeral expenses. It described Glovich as "a kind-hearted, sweet and caring person who we cannot believe this has happened to." You can donate to the fundraiser here.
His family chose to donate his organs to help save other lives, the fundraiser said.

The driver of the Nissan, a 17-year-old who stayed and cooperated with the investigation, has not been charged and no tickets were issued, Antunez said. The driver was accompanied by a 13-year-old passenger and they immediately called 911, Antunez said.
