
Now that the extreme heat of last week has passed the Lakewood BlueClaws are back in town starting tonight with games on the schedule against the Hickory Crawdads and the Savannah Sand Gnats.
The fun kicks off tonight with the Crawdads on a Senior Tuesday. Seniors at the park get to eat free and play baseball bingo. The first 2000 fans at tonight's game also get a free set of team cards for this year's squad.
Tomorrow's game is at 11:05 in the morning and the first 2000 fans under the age of 17 get jumbo baseball cards. When Thursday's first pitch is thrown out at 7:05 Chase and Derby the Golden Retrievers from the Trenton Thunder will be in attendance along with the Famous Chicken. It will also be another Thirsty Thursday at the park with $1 beer and soda at the park.

The final game against the Crawdads will be at 7:05 and will feature another fireworks display at FirstEnergy Park.
The first game against the squad from Savannah will celebrate not only the community's Irish history but also the accomplishment of a former BlueClaw. As part of Irish Heritage night there will be music, pipe bands and green jerseys. It is also Vance Worley "Made the Phillies" bobblehead night. Celebrating the 14th former player to make the big club the first 2000 fans will receive a Worley bobblehead as a souvenir and collectible.

Sunday night's game starts at 5:05 and is another Kids Eat Free night as well as a chance for the first 2000 fans to get their hands on a free team poster. The Phillie Phanatic will be in town on Monday as part of another Kids Eat Free night.
The series ends on Tuesday night with a Senior Day Tuesday and the first 2000 fans under 17 will get jumbo baseball cards. The local team will be on the road with stops at Hickory and Hagerstown before returning home to face the West Virginia Power on July 27.
