Don't Drink and Drive, Howell Police Chief Reminds Residents

"Call someone. Use UBER," chief says.

HOWELL, NJ — Howell Township Police Chief Andrew Kudrick Jr. is reminding residents to be smart tonight as they celebrate New Year's.

"Tonight, I have assigned extra officers strictly to enforce alcohol- and drug-related offenses," he said in a post on Facebook. "This includes roving patrols and plain clothes officers monitoring establishments that serve/sell alcoholic beverages to ensure those are of age to purchase."

"Please be responsible. Don't take the chance. Call someone. Use UBER," Kudrick said.
