DWI Checkpoint Set For Saturday In Howell
The checkpoint is being run by the Monmouth County DWI task force.

HOWELL, NJ — If you are headed out to do a little pre-turkey celebrating on Wednesday night, Monmouth County authorities are urging you to not drink and drive.
The Monmouth County DWI Task Force will be conducting a checkpoint in Howell Saturday night to detect drivers under the influence of drugs or alcohol, said Brielle Police Chief Michael Palmer, the task force coordinator.
The checkpoint will be conducted from 11 p.m. Saturday through 3 a.m. Sunday on Route 9 north, Palmer said.

Task force members and Howell Township police officers will pull vehicles from the northbound lanes into the Regal Plaza parking lot to educate drivers on driving while intoxicated and determine drivers' sobriety.
