Emergency Utility Work Closes Howell Road Overnight

HOWELL, NJ — Emergency utility repairs have forced the closure of West Farms Road in Howell on Tuesday night, police said.

The closure was in place from Citation Street to Harvest Ridge Road, police said.

Drivers who need to get to Freehold from that area shoud take Bergerville Road, police said.

"Residents of Monmouth Woods can still access the development via the Freehold side of West Farms Road (Georgia Road) and residents of Citation Street/Americanside Apartments can access via the Route 9 side of West Farms Road," police said.

The closure was expected to continue through the overnight hours, police said.
