Filmmaker Shannon Harvey Makes the Mind, Body, Health Connection at Georgian Court U.

Australian journalist Shannon Harvey brings her film, "The Connection," to Georgian Court University Thursday, Oct. 5 at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.


Lakewood, N.J., September 26, 2017
—Australian journalist Shannon Harvey, a proponent of mindfulness and its power, brings her personal message of the connection between mind, body, and health to Georgian Court University on Thursday, October 5, at 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. GCU’s Healthy Campus Initiative is hosting Ms. Harvey as she screens her film, The Connection. The event, sponsored by the university’s Office of Student Life, is free and open to the public. No reservations are required.

“Awareness of the connection between the mind and body has the potential to improve one’s quality of life,” says Cynthia Mattia, GCU director of health services. “The Connection opens the mind to all possibilities.”

Ms. Harvey, who has presented at Google and various Fortune 500 companies, will also participate in a Q&A session following the film screening.
