Free Bulk Pickup Program In Howell
Howell Township will provide bulk pickup from early April to October.
HOWELL, NJ — Between the months of April and October, Howell Township will offer free bulk trash pickup to all residents.
Residents who want to use this service must make an appointment by calling (732) 938-4500 ext. 2450 after March 28. When scheduling a curbside pickup, allow two to four weeks for an appointment. The township has requested that all sleeper sofas be disassembled prior to placement and that all doors on appliances be removed.
The following items are accepted for pickup:

- Furniture (glass tables should be taped with an x)
- Carpet and padding (up to two rooms)
- Patio furniture
- Lawn mowers (must be drained of all gasoline)
- Bikes
- Tools
The following items are accepted for both pickup and accepted at the Township Recycling Center:
- Small appliances
- Ovens
- Refrigerators
- Dishwashers
- Dryers
- Washing machines
- Water heaters
- Tv's
- Microwaves
- Computers
The Township Recycling Center is located at 278 Old Tavern Road and is open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
