Free Pet Tags Offered For Howell, Farmingdale Residents
The Hungry Puppy is now offering free pet ID tags for licensed animals in the area. Here's how to get yours:
HOWELL, NJ - If you’re a Howell or Farmingdale resident looking for shiny new pet tags, look no further.
The Hungry Puppy (1288 Highway 33) is now offering free pet ID tags for pets that are licensed in Farmingdale and Howell.
“Did you know that each year, approximately 10 million pets are lost in the United States? That means an estimated 1 in 3 pets will go missing at some point in their life,” the pet store wrote in a Facebook post announcing the initiative. “Proper pet identification is the best way to ensure a lost pet will find its way home.”

Residents must bring in their pet’s paper license to receive a free pet ID tag.
One tag is permitted per household per month. Those with multiple pets may redeem one free tag a month until all pets have received a tag. Only one tag is allowed per pet.
