Georgian Court Hosts Job, Internship, and Grad School Fair March 27

People looking for employment and college graduates looking to earn advanced degrees can talk with representatives from more than 50 companies, agencies, and colleges at Georgian Court University’s Job, Internship, and Graduate School Fair on Thursday, March 27, 2014, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the GCU Wellness Center. The event, which takes place on Georgian Court’s historic Lakewood campus, is free and open to the public.

“The fair will bring employers from various industries to the GCU campus as they offer students, alumni, and area residents an opportunity to network and explore career options,” says Kate Moore, director of the GCU Office of Career Development and Experiential Learning. Participating employers represent a wide range of organizations, including those from nonprofit groups, banking and finance, small businesses, colleges and universities, and state and federal agencies.

The fair is one of several activities slated for GCU’s March 24–27 Career Week. The university is also hosting a March 25 panel discussion with New Jersey Talent Network members who will share insights from several industries, including health care, retail, hospitality and tourism, financial services, transportation, life sciences, and advanced manufacturing. In addition, GCU will host an Education Career Fair with representatives from school districts and educational organizations. The Talent Network presentation and Education Fair are only open to GCU students and alumni.
