Join Georgian Court University students and faculty in celebrating the beginning of the 2014–2015 school year at GCU’s Homecoming & Family Day on Saturday, September 27, from 12:00 to 5:00 p.m. on GCU’s Lakewood campus. Events will include the Third Annual 5K Race/Walk, GCU Lions’ men’s and women’s soccer games and women’s volleyball games, a BBQ, and plenty of fun and games for children and adults alike.
“Homecoming and Family Day is an exciting opportunity to celebrate both the past and the present traditions of The Court,” says Karen Goff, GCU assistant provost for student life and dean of students. “Traditionally, Georgian Court has always hosted Family Day as a way to celebrate students, faculty, staff, and their families. Now we’ve opened it to the local community.”
“This festive and fun-packed weekend comes a great time of year to showcase the spirit and pride of the entire GCU family on our picturesque campus!” Ms. Goff adds.
