Halloween 'Twins:' Howell Patrolwoman Inspires Girls

Patrolwoman Heather Scherbinski was out in the community for Halloween and had some happy interactions.

HOWELL, NJ — On Halloween there were plenty of kids dressed up as all manner of ghosts, goblins and witches.

One little girl in Howell took a different approach, dressing up as a police officer.

Her father told Howell Police Chief Andrew Kudrick Jr. that the little girl was so happy when she got her photo taken with Howell Police Patrolwoman Heather Scherbinski, who was working a patrol shift on Tuesday.

"My daughter was extremely proud of this moment!" the father told Kudrick. "Thank you again to the officer who took time out of her day to talk to my daughter and take a picture with her."

"Today, during her busy patrol shift (she) stopped and introduced herself to this pretty little lady," Kudrick said. "This is another example of how Ptlw. Scherbinski, along with every Howell officer, is “Committed to Community.”
