One of Howell's most historic sites will be celebrated as well as the history of the township on Sunday thanks to an event being held by the Howell Historical Society.
From 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. residents are invited to come to the Mackenzie Museum for a picnic and membership drive. There will be plenty of home cooked treats to enjoy as well as tours of the house available and a chance to learn more about preserving the township's history.
The museum, which dates back to the early 1800's is located at 427 Lakewood Farmingdale Rd. For more information call Elaine Taylor at 732-901-8777.
