HOWELL, NJ — A fire in a Howell Township home forced the closure of Alexander Avenue late Wednesday morning, police said. A photo posted by the Howell Township Police Department showed firefighters battling the blaze on Alexander Avenue about 10:50 a.m. Police said Alexander Avenue was closed between Route 9 and Larabee Boulevard while the fire was being fought.There was no information immediately available. on whether anyone was home at the time of the fire or whether there were any injuries.Photo via Howell Township Police Department
