Howell 2017-18 School Budget Hearing Wednesday

Breaking: The public hearing on the budget is scheduled to be held Wednesday evening at Howell Middle School North.

HOWELL, NJ — The Howell Township Board of Education will hold a public hearing on its proposed $113 million general fund budget will be held Wednesday, May 3, at Howell Middle School North.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. with an executive session at the beginning of the meeting. The public session will begin after the executive session.

The $113 million includes a tax levy of $72,459,479, an increase of just over $1.3 million over the 2016-17 budget. The total base budget, including special revenues and debt service, is $121 million, with a tax levy of $78,066,535.

Howell Middle School North is located at 501 Squankum-Yellowbrook Road, Farmingdale, and the meeting will be held in the school's cafetorium.
