Howell Council Holding Meeting On Tuesday To Pass Bond Ordinances
The meeting was announced last minute and, according to the agenda, is required to deal with urgent matters.
HOWELL, NJ — The Howell Township council will vote on a number of bond ordinances during a special meeting on Tuesday at 3 p.m.
The meeting was announced last minute and will require a resolution authorizing a special meeting lacking adequate notice.
"This meeting is required in order to deal with matters of such urgency and importance that a delay for the purpose of providing adequate notice would be likely to result in substantial harm to the public interest," the agenda says.

The ordinances were brought to public hearings before and will now require a minimum of 4-5 votes to pass.

- Bond Ordinance, Various Capital Improvements and Acquisition of Various Capital Equipment — Appropriation of $8,600,000
- Bond Ordinance, Various Sewer Utility Improvements — Appropriation of $700,000
- MCIA, Leasing of Certain Capital Equipment — Total $6,007,480 estimated cost
- MCIA, Municipal Guaranty on Capital Equipment Lease Revenue Bonds, Series 2021 — Total cost of $1,517,481
