Howell Police Deliver Thanksgiving To More Than 150 Seniors

The police department joined community volunteers in making the deliveries, a longstanding tradition.

HOWELL, NJ — More than 150 senior citizens and other residents in need received meals on Thanksgiving thanks in part to the efforts of the Howell Township Police Department.

About 30 Howell police officers joined community volunteers in delivering the meals.

"This has been a long standing tradition in our department," Chief Andrew J. Kudrick Jr. said. "We thank all those who assisted and made the donations. We are committed to community."

And the community is committed to them: The Harrison family delivered Thanksgiving meal, courtesy of Hinck's Turkey Farm, to the police department for those who were working on the holiday.
