Howell Police K9 Officers Graduate Training
K9s Phantom and Tank finished the 16-week program held in Toms River.

HOWELL, NJ — Howell's newest K9 officers completed their primary training on Friday, the Howell Police Department announced.
Howell Patrolman Tom Poznanski and his canine partner Phantom and Patrolman Matthew Cuzzo and his partner Tank completed the 16-week canine patrol school hosted by the Toms River Police Department and led by Sgt. James Reilly of the Toms River Police Department.
Poznanski and Cuzzo are now certified police canine handlers.

"We extend our sincere gratitude to Sgt. Reilly and Chief (Mitch) Little for their commitment and welcoming us into their department for this training," the announcement said.
The officers and their K9 partners will take a week off and then begin three months of scent training with the Toms River Police Department.
