HOWELL, N.J.—Route 9 south was reopened after it was closed earlier today for an extended period after a crash involving two school buses, police said in a Facebook post this afternoon.

The post says no children were on the school buses involved. But two people were injured and taken to area hospitals. No information was immediately available on their conditions.

No other details about what vehicles were involved in the crash were available at this time.
