Howell Police Offering Self-Defense Course For Women
The course is for women ages 13 and older, and registration is under way.
HOWELL, NJ — Women would like to have a better sense of how to protect themselves from an attacker are invited to the Howell Township Police Department's 2nd Annual Women's Self Protection Class.
The class will be taught by current members of the Howell Police Department and is being offered to women ages 13 and older. There will be a lecture on avoidance detection and hands-on demonstrations for common street attacks.
All participants under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The course is set for 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, at the Howell PAL building, 115 Kent Road.
