HOWELL, NJ -- Howell Township police are warning residents to be on the lookout for two men who were caught on surveillance video apparently checking it out to try to rob it.
In a post on Facebook, the police department wrote:
"So, these two misguided males thought it would be a good idea to case a residence. However, they quickly realized they were captured on a video doorbell. No doubt they were up to no good. Keep an eye out for your neighbors. If you recognize these two hooded hoodlums, let’s give them an early Christmas present by way of some fine polished steel bracelets."
