Howell Police Seek Your Vote In Charity Contest
They were nominated because of their efforts to help 7-year-old Jake Honig, who is battling cancer.

HOWELL, NJ — The Howell Township Police Department is asking Howell residents to cast their votes to help the department win a local radio station's honor as most inspiring story of 2017.
NJ 101.5 FM is hosting the Blue Friday contest in conjunction with Ray Catena Auto Group, which is donating $5,000 to the charity of choice of the law enforcement officer or department chosen by the public.
The top three vote-getters as of Saturday, Dec. 6, will then be part of a poll on Twitter from Monday, Jan. 8 through Friday, Jan. 12, and the winner will receive the check.

Howell police were nominated for their efforts to support Jake Honig, a township boy who has been battling cancer since he was 2 years old. There is a basketball fundraiser coming up for Jake on Sunday, Jan. 7.
