Howell Police Urge People To Stay Off The Roads

The slushy conditions are extremely slick and hazardous, police said.

HOWELL, NJ — Howell Township police had a stern warning for motorists Wednesday afternoon: "Stay off the roads if you don't need to be out."

The warning came as police shared video of officers responding to a crash on Fort Plains Road where the driver lost control of his vehicle, which went off the road, hit a tree and got wedged between the tree and a utility pole.

The driver was not injured, police said.
