Howell Residents Invited To Apply For Citizens Police Academy

The academy will last 13 weeks and will give residents a closer look at how emergency services work.

HOWELL, NJ — Howell Township Police are inviting residents to apply for the department's Citizens Police Academy.

If you have wanted to gain a better understanding of how the police department operates, this is your opportunity. The academy begins Feb. 6 and runs 13 weeks on Wednesday nights.

It is not a first-come, first-served program, however. Those wishing to take part must apply and will be selected after a review and background process. Applications must be turned in by Jan. 9.
