UPDATE: Howell Elementary Schools Closed Thursday, March 22
The Freehold Regional High School District remained set for a delayed opening on Thursday.

HOWELL, NJ — As conditions continued to deteriorate Wednesday night, Howell Township School District officials announced they were closing district schools for Thursday, March 22.
However, the Freehold Regional High School District remained scheduled for a delayed opening, as of 11 p.m.
At the Howell schools, the PAL before- and after-care programs and all afternoon and evening events are canceled.

The delayed start times for the high schools are as follows:
- Freehold, Howell, and Manalapan high schools will begin at 9 a.m.
- Colts Neck, Freehold Township and Marlboro high schools will begin at 9:55 a.m.
The Monmouth County Vocational School District remains on a delayed opening as well.
