Howell Schools' Color Run Postponed Again

A forecast with drenching downpours prompted organizers to push the run back again.

HOWELL, NJ — The rainy spring weather and a forecast for weekend downpours has convinced organizers of the planned Race to Educate Color Run to postpone the event for the second straight week.

The color run raises funds for the Howell Township Education Foundation and Howell Township Education Association, which support the Howell Township schools. Organizers said field conditions still have not dried up sufficiently from constant rain and the weekend weather forecast is promising heavy rains again.

The run has been pushed to Saturday, June 9 as a result.
