Between Hurricane Sandy and last week's Nor'Easter the Howell Publich Schools have been open for one half of a day in the past two weeks.
Now that the storms have passed the district announced on Saturday that school will resume on Monday now that all the buildings have power again.
Schools were open for a delayed opening last Wednesday but Monday will be a full day as the district resumes its schedule. There has been no word on what impact the recent closure will have on the district's calendar for the rest of the year.
