UPDATE: Howell Schools to Dismiss Early Wednesday, Thursday
Predicted heat means students will be let out of school early

With temperatures expected to approach triple digits, the Howell Township Public Schools were already set to have an early dismissal on Wednesday.
Wednesday morning the district announced that with no break in the weather in sight, there will be an early dismissal on Thursday, as well.
For students at the three middle schools that means dismissal will be at 12:10 p.m. Aldrich, Greenvile Griebling, Ramtown and pre-kindergarten classes will be let out at 12:50 p.m. while morning kindergarten will be let out at 10:10 a.m.

Students at Adelphia, Ardena, Land O'Pines, Newbury and Taunton as well as the pre-kindergarten students at those schools will be released at 1:30 p.m.
According to the district the KinderChallenge program will not be held but Howell PAL Aftercare will still go on as scheduled. Parents are asked to pick up their children as early as possible. For more information call 732-919-2825.
