Howell Senior Center Collecting Candy For Troops

If you don't want to battle your kids over their sugar rush or you want to get rid of treats you couldn't give away, here's the chance.

HOWELL, NJ — Did Halloween trick-or-treating result in an exceptional bounty for your kids? Did you wind up with buckets full of candy because of a dearth of costumed visitors?

The Howell Township Senior Center is ready to help you get rid of it.

The Senior Center is collecting candy to send to the troops serving overseas. All you have to do is drop it off at the center, 251 Preventorium Road. The center is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
