Winter Storm Orlena - State of Emergency
To All Township Residents of Howell and Farmingdale. The Office of Emergency Management in conjunction with Howell Townships Township Manager, and The Borough of Farmingdale’s Mayor have issued a Local State of Emergency for Winter Storm Orlena, effective at 11AM February 1, 2021. This State of Emergency will remain in effect until rescinded by the Office of Emergency Management.What does this State of Emergency means for residents?To protect the safety and welfare of the residents, travel should be limited during this Emergency. Residents are urged to stay home. Vehicles shall be removed from the street that are parked. The owner of those vehicles shall remove vehicles parked in the street. Failure to comply could result in a summons issued, or the vehicle towed from the street, or both.All sports equipment must be also removed from the street.
