Howell Women’s Club Announces 2026 Spring Tea
The Howell Women's Club gathers each spring for their annual tea and they've announced where and when the event will be.

HOWELL, NJ — The Howell Women’s Club is hosting their annual spring tea at the Echo Lake Pavilion on April 18 from 2 to 4 p.m. and they’re ready for your reservations.
For the last three years the Howell Women’s Club has hosted a spring tea. The event is a gathering of members from the organization, but it’s also open to the public at large. Because the spring tea is so popular, advance registration is required, which can be coordinated via email with the club’s leadership or by messaging them through their Facebook page. This year’s event will have live entertainment.
Sandy Moshier is the president of Howell Women’s Club and has been a member since 2018. Moshier said that the space gets set up like a tea room — complete with fine china and linens. Some of the items served at the event include finger sandwiches, scones, sweets and desserts, and naturally different teas. For live entertainment, Moshier noted they’re lucky to have booked The Balancing Act, a quartet from the Liberty Oak Chorus.

“It's an afternoon to spend and relax with … special friend(s) — of family people,” Moshier said. “We have it at Echo Lake Pavilion, and it's very … scenic with all the glass (windows), it's beautiful.”
The Howell Women’s Club is a member of the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs. The state-level organization has membership with the General Federation of Women’s Clubs, an organization founded in 1890 in New York City. “This is a worldwide organization," Moshier explained. “I'm just so glad that we’re able to raise money that we then donate to other local charities as a club.”

Moshier further teased that they’re going to be having a bake sale on May 9 outside of Connie’s in Farmingdale.
If you’re interested in joining fellow women from the Howell community at their spring tea, reach out via email for registration information or connect with them on their Facebook page.
The Howell Women’s Club meets the second Tuesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at Taunton School and their annual open house will be Oct. 6, 2026, also at Taunton.
“The Howell Woman's Club was organized in 1963. Members of the HWC work together on community-based programs that make a difference in the lives of others,” their club page says on the Federation’s website. “We enjoy educational programs, fundraising, and social activities while having fun and making new friends. We feel that our club has much to offer and invite women who live in the Howell Township community to join us.”
