Have a free cone and spend a little time getting to know the officers and police chief.

HOWELL, NJ — In a twist on the "Coffee with a Cop," the Howell Township Police Department invites township residents to meet Chief Andrew Kudrick and officers from the department Wednesday night for ice cream.

The event, which they've dubbed "Operation Pol-ice Cream," will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Ice Cream on 9, just south of West Farms Road.

Have a free ice cream while you chat with the chief and get to know some of the members of the police department.
