Let's Yo Holds Fundraiser for Local Resident

On a sunny summer day a local shop in Howell helped out a local family in need.

The shop on Route 9 held a fundraiser for the family of 18-year-old Meaghan Wheeler, an 18-year-old township resident currently battling cancer. Donna Mazzeo, the manager of the shop said by the end of the day a $1000 donation was made to the family. 

In just a Mazzeo said the store has held fundraisers for a variety of organizations and individuals by donating a portion of the proceeds to their cause. She said the Wheeler event was particularly touching for her. "It was very surreal to be here and see it all go down," she said. "It was something really cool to be a part of."
