Life Scout renovating meditation garden at Howell church
The garden renovation at The Church of the Master is an Eagle Scout project being undertaken by Hunter Madden of Troop 300
HOWELL -- Troop 300's Eagle Scout candidate Hunter Madden is currently working on his Eagle project at The Church of the Master in Howell.
Hunter is raising funds to purchase supplies to begin his project of renovating the church's Meditation Garden. He explained what work he will be completing within the timeframe involved:
"My project will be renovating a Meditation Garden at The Church of the Master on Salem Hill Road.

"For my project I will be adding benches, redoing the entry way, planting rhododendrons, painting the cross, replacing trellises and mulching.
"My project is aiming to give the Garden a fresh look and make it more aesthetically pleasing, as it looks worn with age at the moment."

So far, Hunter has raised $200, and his goal is to reach $1,250.
"I hope to have my project done by March or April before I age out in May. When the project is completed the extra funds will go to The Church of the Master.
"Any donations are appreciated and will be used to the fullest extent for the project. Thank you!"
