Major Road, Utility Work On Fairfield Road In Howell
Construction on Fairfield Road near Route 524 will last for approximately four months, with daytime road closures and detours.

HOWELL, N.J.—Beginning Thursday and for three weeks, utility work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Adelphia Road (County Route 524) and Fairfield Road intersection, the township says.
Fairfield Road will be closed from the traffic signal at Route 524 to Merrick Road with detours for the first three weeks, a news release states.
The road will be opened at night and weekends.

After the initial three weeks of work, the project will continue north of Statesboro Road, utilizing alternating traffic control in lieu of detours.
Construction on Fairfield Road is scheduled to last for approximately four months.

The entire roadway will be repaved edge to edge upon the completion of all construction.
